Over the course of 13 months and working in close coordination with local public, private, and academic entities, PADF will carry out a multi-phased project aimed at increasing community resilience in vulnerable coastal areas in the Stann Creek District.

Increasing Water and Food Security

PADF is working with Plenty Belize, a village-based development agency, to provide on-site skills training through its Garden-Based Agriculture for Belize’s Environment (GATE) initiative.

Youth Engagement Services (YES) Program

Belize City, Belize
The Youth Engagement Services (YES) program, a new 14-month initiative, is targeting youth who have limited opportunities in order to support youth-initiated micro and small businesses that increase access to jobs and encourage entrepreneurship in Belize City.
