PADF Privacy Policy

The Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) is a non-profit, non-partisan, non-governmental 501 (c) (3) organization based in Washington, D.C., that focuses on social and economic development in Latin America and the Caribbean. PADF’s website(s) and other materials are designed to further its mission. PADF is an affiliate of the Organization of American States (OAS).

A visitor to PADF’s websites may do so without registering or revealing any personal information. A visitor may decide to give PADF personal information via the Internet for the purposes of correspondence, processing a donation and/or subscript to an electronic publication. Information provided by any user will not be given to third parties for any commercial use. PADF may collaborate with other organizations that have similar goals and missions, and to that end PADF may provide relevant information.

The identity of all who contact us through this website is kept confidential. We do not rent, sell, or exchange any personal information to a third party. Any credit card donations received electronically via this website are processed by PNC Bank and subject to that institution’s security measures.

PADF created this Privacy Policy to demonstrate respect for your privacy preferences and to disclose our information collection and sharing practices.   • We will use the personal information to protect against potential fraud.  We may verify with third parties the information collected in the course of processing a gift, event registration or other donation.  If you use a credit or debit card on the website, we may use card authorization and fraud screening services to verify that your card information and address matches the information that you supplied to us and that the card being used has not been reported lost or stolen.
