Prior to his retirement in 2005, William Gambrel worked in international banking for over 30 years throughout Latin America with J. P. Morgan Chase, BankBoston, and Bank of America.  He held the position of Country Manager in Argentina, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Panama, and Puerto Rico.

Mr. Gambrel has been active in the Latin American business community, having served as Chairman of the Board of Governors of the American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America (AACCLA) from 2001 to 2003.  He remains an active member of AACCLA, and as Past President, serves on its Governing Board.

He is a graduate of the American School of International Management in Glendale, Arizona and of Hanover College in Madison, Indiana.  He currently resides in the Dominican Republic with his wife Dilcia Gambrel.
