Support Caribbean Islands of Antigua and Barbuda After Hurricane Irma

  • 1,800 people on the Caribbean island of Barbuda homeless

  • Thousands evacuated to temporary shelters on island of Antigua

On September 5-6, 2017, Hurricane Irma hit the Caribbean nation of Antigua and Barbuda. Powerful winds and floods ravaged 95 percent of homes, businesses and critical infrastructure on the island of Barbuda. Forced to evacuate the island, thousands of residents of Barbuda now live in temporary emergency shelters in Antigua.

Assistance is urgently needed to provide food, water, first aid, shelter supplies, and other basic necessities to those left homeless by recent hurricanes.

PADF is collecting financial donations to assist with recovery efforts in Antigua and Barbuda. Donations will be used to deliver assistance to those whose lives have been uprooted by this disaster.
