Caribbean Strategy Program
Since 2009 PADF has been working with the Government of Colombia to support the Colombian Cooperation Strategy for the Caribbean Basin, an initiative that seeks to engage different entities from the government, civil society and international organizations interested in promoting the social and economic development of the region through the strengthening of capacities, exchange of experiences, and the creation of networks and alliances.
Led by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Colombia with support from the Presidential Agency for International Cooperation of Colombia, this program currently focuses on the following areas:
- Academic mobility
- Food Security and Nutrition
- Risk Management and Disaster Prevention
- Professional technical training
Since 2013, PADF has been focusing more closely on culture, risk management and disaster prevention, and the environment.
