TOGETHER from North to South

Together from North to South (Juntas de Norte a Sur) is the largest digital directory of services that address gender-based violence in Latin America and the Caribbean. It contains more than 4,000 entries, including civil society organizations, public and private institutions, and networks that provide support to victims of gender-based violence in the region, which disproportionately impacts women, girls, and those who identify as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer, intersex (LGBTQI+), and those who are gender diverse.

This digital directory provides both organizations and populations that have experienced violence based on their sex, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity, or expression, or sexual characteristics, access to updated information on medical, psychosocial, or legal services closest to your location.

Juntas de Norte a Sur is a collaborative effort between the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF), MundoSur (Argentina), and Alternativas y Capacidades A.C. (Mexico). We are thankful for the assistance from the Inter-American Commission of Women (CIM/OEA), Corporación Miles (Chile), Fondo Semillas (Mexico), Hispanics in Philanthropy, and Fondo para Jóvenes de Centroamérica y México (Fondo Camy) in collecting data and promoting this directory. We also acknowledge all the women’s organizations and gender advocates from Latin America and the Caribbean who contributed to this effort.

Visit juntasdenorteasur.com to access the digital directory.

The Juntas de Norte a Sur initiative is supported by PADF and made possible thanks to the generous funding of the United States government.
