Families in The Homeland

Project
More than seven million people have been displaced by Colombia’s decades-long civil conflict. Through the Familias en Su Tierra (Families in their Homeland) program, PADF is working with the Colombian government’s Department for Social Prosperity (DPS) throughout the country to assist displaced families. They are now returning voluntarily to their homelands to reestablish themselves in the community.. To date, the program has supported 42,000 displaced families nationwide. The program helps people developed skills that enable them to find employment, improves access to basic services and offers social and psychological support to victims.
