With support from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Taiwan, PADF strengthened the ability of public sector institutions in Paraguay to manage disaster risk through coordinated technical assistance and donations of specialized technology. This support enhanced Early Warning Systems (EWS) and the ability of disaster response agencies to access, interpret, and utilize information for preparedness and disaster response planning. Under its partnership with Taiwan, PADF is looking ahead to expanding access to STEM education in the Caribbean, focusing on sustainable tourism and reducing threats to marine biodiversity.
