Delivering Impact Where It’s Hardest, and Innovation Where It’s Needed Most” celebrates the people, partnerships, and ideas creating opportunities across the Americas.
The Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) is proud to publish its 2025 Annual Report, “Steadfast in Challenge, Smart in Change: Delivering Impact Where It’s Hardest, and Innovation Where It’s Needed Most.”
The report celebrates a year of resilience, progress, and renewed purpose. Across Latin America and the Caribbean, PADF worked alongside communities, governments, civil society, and the private sector to save lives, promote economic growth, and advance security and the rule of law.
In her opening letter, Executive Director Katie Taylor reflects on how PADF transformed a rapidly changing environment into an opportunity to sharpen its priorities, strengthen partnerships, and explore new ways of working.
“This year sparked a moment of reinvention,” Taylor writes.
That spirit came to life through the Phoenix Task Force, which brought colleagues from across the organization together to develop creative solutions, expand partnerships, and turn promising ideas into meaningful opportunities for growth. The experience reaffirmed what has always powered PADF’s work: the collective intelligence, creativity, and commitment of its people.
Board of Trustees President Stephen C. Donehoo echoes that confidence in his letter. He celebrates an organization that measures progress through real outcomes and remains deeply connected to the people behind every result.
In 2025, PADF:
- Reached over 3 million people
- Supported 625 organizations and institutions
- Fostered 242 partnerships with local organizations
- Distributed nearly 3,000 metric tons of lifesaving supplies
- Helped seize USD 51 million in assets from a transnational money laundering network
Behind these numbers are inspiring stories of transformation. The report introduces women entrepreneurs building independent futures in Haiti, Indigenous Warao families finding safety and opportunity in Brazil, migrants receiving critical assistance in Colombia, children protected from gang recruitment in Ecuador, workers accessing fairer employment, and young people discovering new possibilities through STEM education.
Together, these stories tell the broader PADF story: one of local leadership, trusted partnerships, practical innovation, and an unwavering commitment to creating opportunities for all.
The Annual Report also celebrates the remarkable people who have helped build and sustain PADF’s mission.
Sandra Perez reflects on more than 25 years with PADF and the countless people and communities that have inspired her throughout her career. Dr. Elizabeth Fox shares the lessons and knowledge she has helped preserve as she looks ahead to retirement and a lasting legacy of learning and innovation. Robert “Bob” McGee marks the conclusion of more than four decades of service as a Trustee and former Board President, leaving an extraordinary legacy of leadership, generosity, and dedication.
We are grateful beyond words for Sandra’s continued commitment, Dr. Fox’s invaluable contributions, and Bob’s decades of stewardship. Their stories embody the passion and sense of purpose that make PADF strong.
