Fortalecimento de Unidades Produtivas no Brasil
O fortalecimento de unidades produtivas para migrantes e refugiados desempenha um papel fundamental na promoção de sua autonomia e viabiliza soluções sustentáveis a longo prazo. Essa abordagem vai além do aspecto material, pois reconhece a importância de investir no desenvolvimento pessoal e na capacidade empreendedora dos indivíduos. Desta forma, a Fundação Pan-Americana para o Desenvolvimento (PADF) oferece aos migrantes e refugiados a chance de se tornarem economicamente independentes, como também reduzindo sua dependência de ajuda externa.
Neste processo, foi realizado um mapeamento e identificação de necessidades dos negócios a partir de uma escuta ativa. Entre os setores apoiados, estão a agricultura comunitária, corte e costura, horta comunitária, panificação, artesanato, salão de beleza, entre outros. A PADF fortaleceu 123 negócios individuais ou coletivos, beneficiando 276 pessoas, incluindo migrantes e refugiados indígenas.
Além do apoio material, a PADF ofereceu capacitações, sessões informativas e acompanhamento técnico ao longo de todo o processo e de acordo com as necessidade de cada negócio.
