Since 2021, the Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) and the United States Agency for International Development/Bureau for Humanitarian Assistance (USAID/BHA) have teamed up to provide humanitarian assistance to displaced and confined persons in Colombia.

The program, which covers 22 municipalities across five departments, offers food assistance and protection components to help individuals overcome crises in complex emergencies.

For the past two years, the program has successfully aided over 24,000 individuals, including providing food baskets and vouchers, as well as conducting group psychosocial support sessions.

Additionally, the program has formed 12 community support networks and opened 22 gender-based violence cases, while providing legal and psychosocial counseling to those seeking access to health, education, and identification services.
