PADF Joins a New Climate Accountability Commitment
The Pan American Development Foundation (PADF) joined the Climate Accountability in Development Collective on December 1, 2021. As members of this group, we have committed to measure our greenhouse gas emissions every year and reduce our emissions 30% by 2030. The slide deck below, available in English, French, and Spanish, explains our commitments, how we calculated our fiscal year 2019 emissions, and what comes next.
If you would like to be a part of our internal working group to help write our 2022 Climate Action Plan, you are all invited to join the Green Team. The Green Team is launching in December 2021 and will meet monthly through at least June 2022 to craft the details of this plan. If you would like to join the group or learn more, email msterling@padf.org. These meetings will be conducted bilingually in English and Spanish.
Podcast Interview With Daniel Noriega
For our English speakers, we would also like to share with you a podcast recorded with Daniel Noriega, a sustainability officer at the Organization of American States. Daniel offers great advice to us as we embark on our climate accountability journey. Listen to the podcast and read the transcript below.
