PARAGUAY

PADF’s office in Paraguay is actively convening a variety of stakeholders from civil society, government, donor agencies and private sector to develop a programmatic portfolio that advances human rights, promotes the prevention of gender based violence, advances youth development issues, strengthens citizen security and prioritizes the environment, particularly in relation to disaster preparedness and resilience. These areas are addressed through capacity building of civil society organizations, introduction of regional evidence-based best practices and the promotion of public private partnerships. The Paraguay office, under the supervision of PADF’s regional office in Colombia, is also supporting PADF’s growth in the southern cone as well as providing leadership on positive youth development throughout the region.
